Today's practice
About 25 minutes. Items tick themselves off when you finish them, and a timed run counts toward your bests.

Digit Challenge
Fill every box so the equation is true. It gets harder each time you're right.
Rules
- Only digits 1–9, and each digit at most once per equation.
- × is calculated before + and −: 2 + 3 × 4 is 14, not 20.
- Any valid answer counts. There is no single "intended" answer.
- Correct answers move you up a level (more boxes, more ×), wrong ones move you down.
Keys
Type a digit to fill the highlighted box. ← → move between boxes, Backspace erases, Del clears all, Enter submits. Enter does nothing until every box is filled. Typing a digit that's already used moves it to the box you're on.
Start
Switch Challenge
Pick the code that turns the top row of symbols into the bottom row.
How to read a code
- Digit i of the code says which top symbol ends up in bottom position i.
- Official example: top ■ ▲ ✚ ● becomes ✚ ▲ ● ■, so the code is 3241 (3rd, 2nd, 4th, 1st).
- From level 4 two boxes are chained: the output of the first box is the input of the second, and one of the two codes is given.
Keys
1 2 3 pick a code. In practice, a wrong answer stops and shows where each symbol came from. Enter goes on.
Start
Grid Challenge
Remember where the dots appear, in order, while you answer quick yes/no puzzles in between.
The loop
- A dot lights up in one of 16 holes.
- You answer a yes/no puzzle (5 seconds).
- Repeat 2 to 6 times, then click the holes where the dots were, in order.
Round 1 asks "Is it symmetrical?", round 2 "Rotated but identical?", round 3 "Is the equation correct?" (line patterns added or taken away).
Keys
Puzzles: Y or ← for yes, N or → for no. Recall: click the holes, Backspace undoes the last one, Enter submits once every position is placed.

Full rehearsal
All three games back to back, the way the real Interactive Assessment runs. Do it at least once before you apply, in the same conditions you'll have on test day.
What runs
| Step | Game | Time |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Digit Challenge | 6 min |
| 2 | Switch Challenge | 6 min |
| 3–5 | Grid Challenge, rounds 1, 2 and 3 | 3 × 4 min |
Set up like the real thing
- Laptop, plugged in, Chrome or Firefox, full screen (F11).
- Quiet room, phone in another room.
- No stopping between steps except the short screen that introduces the next game.
The real games look different and their exact timing may vary. The skills are the same.
Start
Mental math
Short drills for the arithmetic the Digit Challenge runs on. Answers check themselves as soon as you've typed enough digits, so there's no Enter to press.
Three drills
- Mixed: products, sums, differences and order of operations. The daily warm-up.
- Reverse products: "42 = ? × ?". Type two different digits, like 6 then 7. This is the core Digit skill: seeing a target and knowing which products get you there.
- Order of operations: "3 + 4 × 2". Trains you to always do × first.

PEAK Performance Assessment
A work-style questionnaire in 4 sections. Each section locks when you submit it, so there's no going back.
Warm-up: 22 statements
Answer each one from what you've actually done, quickly. At the end you'll see where you hesitated and where two of your answers contradict each other. Those are the things to settle, honestly, before test day.
Keys 1 to 4, from Very untrue to Very true.
Format
Two kinds of item:
- Multiple choice about what you've done. Official example: "In social settings, what have you been most likely to do? Introduce yourself to others / Accept introductions but don't initiate them / Ask someone else to introduce you / Enjoy the function by yourself."
- Statements on a scale: Very untrue · Somewhat untrue · Somewhat true · Very true. Example: "I enjoy reading or listening to the daily news."
Some candidates also report short work situations ("what would you do").
What P&G looks for
| PEAK factor | Your evidence |
|---|---|
| Lead with Courage | COMPDES proposal, starting team repos |
| Innovate for Growth | Research: CCC 0.34 → 0.85 |
| Champion Productivity | RuneKeep release automation |
| Execute with Excellence | 123 tested releases, 50-run validation |
| Bring Out Our Best | Tutoring, PR reviews, Ayumisanca |
All of it rests on integrity (P&G's Purpose, Values and Principles).
How to take it
- Answer from real past behaviour, not from the person you'd like to be. Items come back in different words, and inconsistency is the classic way to fail.
- Use the whole scale. "Very true" where it really is (initiative, ownership, learning, teamwork), "Somewhat" where you're honest about nuance.
- Integrity items have one answer. Bending rules, blaming others, hiding mistakes: never.
- Don't undersell out of modesty. Your real profile already fits.
- Alone, no AI. P&G may re-verify results under supervision.
Interviews
P&G asks about things you've actually done and wants Context → Actions (and why) → Results. Practise out loud: about 2 minutes per answer, say "I", not "we".
Press "New question". Stories you rated Rough, or haven't rated, come up more often.
Your stories

Questions to ask them at the end
- What does an IT intern's first month usually look like on your team?
- How are interns matched to Application & Integration, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure or Security & Risk projects?
- What tools and stack does your team use day to day?
- What do the interns who do best here have in common?
Before you apply
The assessment arrives within days of submitting, and the result stays on file for 12 months across every P&G application. Finish this list first. Training items tick themselves from your practice.
Progress
Each line is one drill: its best, its latest, the average of your last five runs and the trend.
